Woolworths supermarkets are rabbit free!

Good news! We contacted Woolworths supermarkets to ask if they stocked rabbit meat. They did not. We emailed back to thank them for NOT stocking rabbit meat.

Coles supermarkets sell rabbit meat

In August 2010, we contacted Coles to ask about rabbit meat that they are selling in their meat section. Coles admitted they were selling rabbit meat but justified the meat as wild rabbit.

We don't care if it is wild or domestic. It means that the public will view rabbit as food.
